Dom Perignon Rose 2000 Rose Wine
(In-Stock)
Wine Enthusiast rating: 94. Dom Perignon Rose Vintage 2000 has matured in the cellars of Epernay for eight years, allowing it to express this full richness and depth. Its rareness and bold character make it a stunning wine. On eyes Intense, deep colour, with light hints of amber and copper. On nose first floral notes immediately give way to black cherry and candied fruit peel followed by cocoa, cardamom and smoky aromas. On palate wine is beautifully structured and well-balanced in a perfect classic style, different facets of its personality blended into a coherent whole. fruit flavours are smooth, with surprising body and sparkle. initial firmness becomes more rounded and creamier with a subtle sweet and sour note of pink grapefruit.

Bottle Size:3--750 ml Wine Spectator:-- Robert Parker:-- Wine Enthusiast:-- 2006 Robert Craig Affinity Proprietary Red Wine Robert Parker Tasting Notes Wine Advocate #186 Dec 2009 Robert Parker 92 Drink: N/A $50 (50) The 2006 Affinity is a steal for a high-quality Napa Cabernet-based wine (actually 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot). This wine displays floral, blueberry, and black currant notes intermixed with some subtle oak and a hint of coffee beans. Generous, rich, with beautiful layers of fruit, impressive purity, and admirable elegance combined with power, this is a gorgeous wine that can be drunk now or cellared for 12-15 years. This is the best group of wines I have ever tasted from Robert Craig Winery. Not only is there not a single disappointment in this portfolio, but these are all noteworthy wines, with thrilling levels of quality. Moreover, they are moderately priced for Napa Valley as well as ageworthy. I think these are the finest wines that I have

Merry Edwards Meredith Estate Pinot Noir 2009 Wine
(In-Stock)
Wine Enthusiast rating: 96. All of us here at winery appreciate magnificent way in which Meredith Estate virtually blossoms with bottle age. Last year for our post-harvest party, we opened a 10-year vertical of this wine. lineup included inaugural 2000 production through current 2009 vintage. It was rewarding to see singular personality of this vibrant Pinot Noir so consistently reflected over its entire first decade. Even vintages that we originally considered to be more elegant in style -- 2001, 2005 and 2006 -- had expanded in volume and richness. aroma is deeply layered, opening with distinctive white pepper signature of 2009 vintage. This quickly expands into a perfume rich with blueberries, wild roses, plums, blackberries, lavender and violets. Accents of exotic Indian spice, sweet pipe tobacco and vanilla bean heighten experience. On palate, its fine bones support layers of full, generous tannin and acidity. This Pinot, though tightly wound, is poised, just waiting for time to r

It offers a huge nose of blackberry and cassis liqueur, plums, figs, barbecue smoke, and lead pencil shavings. A wine of great intensity, enormous concentration, moderately high tannin, and a blockbuster finish, it needs 2-3 more years of bottle age, and it should last for 10-20+ years. This is an impressive successor to Branson Coach Houses equally exciting 2002.

The influence of Antinori is already felt in this beautiful wine. A supple, generous finish rounds things out nicely. The difference between this 2009 and 2008 is night and day. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. The changes that have taken place at Stags Leap Winery over the last few years are nothing less than stunning. Krutz Family Cellars Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 Wine
(In-Stock)
Wine Enthusiast rating: 95. In recent years, Stagecoach Vineyard has become one of most renowned vineyards in Napa Valley. It rises 1, 200 feet above sea level and continues to climb to nearly 1, 850 feet at its highest elevations on southern side of Oakville appellation's Pritchard Hill and Atlas Peak. Blessed with south-facing slopes filled with shallow, volcanic soils, site's rugged terroir is ideal for growing intensely colored cabernet sauvignon. My favorite vintage of decade for Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. We were graced with outstanding growing conditions that gave way to a wine with pure, focused flavors black cherry, currant, and tobacco, while a mid palate of spice vanilla and mocha linger in layers, all framed with velvet-like, dusty tannins.

Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2008 Wine
(In-Stock)
Wine Enthusiast rating: 94. Grapes from Sonoma Coast appellation give us opportunity to create a blend unique in its cool-climate profile. For this wine, we source vineyards located to south and west of town of Sebastopol. These sites are directly influenced by fog and breezes emanating from San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean. Primarily planted to new generation of Dijon clones, these vineyards also host a small proportion of two older California selections ? Pommard and Swan. opening fragrance of this Pinot reveals scents of crushed, sweet red cherries, ripe raspberries and jasmine tea. As appealing aroma expands and unfolds, its floral perfume exhibits hints of violets, blueberries, licorice and nutmeg. palate is sweet and savory with a smooth, sleek mouthfeel and fine-grained tannins extending full finish. This wine's gentle, approachable character belies its potential for long-term aging.
