The Smarthome 59503 IR Receiver Kit has been designed to suppress various types of interference, including Plasma, LCD and LED TVs, indirect sunlight and energy-saving light bulbs. It allows you to use an existing infrared (IR) remote control to operate up to eight audio/video (A/V) components located behind closed doors or walls in an entertainment cabinet or equipment closet. The built-in IR distribution technology gives you the ability to conceal, yet still control, bulky electronic equipment such as a cable or satellite TV receiver, stereo receiver or amplifier, CD player, DVD player, Blu-ray player, or virtually any component controlled by an IR signal.

Control up to eight hidden components - your cable or satellite TV receiver, stereo receiver or amplifier, CD player, DVD player, Blu-ray player or virtually any component controlled by an IR signal. You can mount this IR receiver on the side of your television and it receives the IR signals from an existing remote control and distributes those signals via IR emitters to A/V components.

These relay switches are great for standalone applications, or for three- or four-way circuits that can be controlled from more than one switch location. A three-way circuit requires one relay switch and one multi-way companion switch. A four-way circuit requires one relay switch and two multi-way companion switches. For single-pole applications, leave the "control" terminal unconnected. The switches respond to ALL LIGHTS ON and ALL LIGHTS OFF, and feature an LED that indicates the switch is on. They come with interchangeable white/ivory paddle switch covers. Trim plates are not included. Requires a neutral wire connection.
