The K.A.T. TRAXX measures the performance of your vehicle by sensing acceleration forces. It uses the data gathered to provide G-force, horsepower, 0-60 time, and 0-1/4 mile speed and time information. The TRAXX also provides radar and laser detection functionality, and uses distinct visual and voice alerts to warn you of the presence of X, K and all kinds of Ka band radar guns in the front and rear of you. This model also provides the benefit of "undetectability" by alerting you to the presence of VG-2 Radar detector-detector units. It also scrambles all laser devices.

With distinct visual and audible alerts to warn of X, K, and all kinds of Ka Band radar guns, the Rocky Mountain KAT-600 lets you ride without taking your eyes off the road. This Rocky Mountain radar detector gives you total VG-2 protection and prevents the detector from being detected by radar guns. Thanks to this radar detector, you also get warned of potential road hazards so that you get time to find a detour. With Micro-scan for POP detection, this Rocky Mountain radar detector is able to dispense an extremely brief burst of radio waves.
