Substantial hickory logs, up to 4" thick, are chosen and sanded smooth to the touch before being finished with a moisture resistant, catalyzed lacquer. Each piece features mortise and tenon joints that are screwed and glued together, for sturdy, rock-solid furniture with a very rustic appeal.
