The FlexVac kit converts any IQAir Air Purifier into a mobile self-contained extraction system that allows you to capture gases, fumes, vapors, odors and dust particles directly at their source. Exceptional Reach: The FlexVac kit features a self-supporting suction duct that gives the FlexVac a horizontal reach of up to 7 feet and a vertical reach of up to 9 feet. Exceptional Maneuverability: The mobility of the FlexVac kit is ensured by six casters. The 5" diameter suction duct can be bent, twisted and turned into virtually any position and will remain in place until repositioned. Exceptional Stability: The FlexVac suction duct is made of interlocked polypropylene plastic. The frequency of cleaning due to mineral build up can vary depending on the quality of the water you may have. The PermaWick Filter should be cleaned in a vinegar and water solution to remove any mineral buildup. Place in a solution of 1 gallon of water and 8 ounces of undiluted white vinegar. Allow the filter to soak for 20 minutes. After soaking, rinse the filter several times with clean water and place in a location where it can drip dry.

It is made from shatterproof, chemically resistant polypropylene. Its large 5” diameter ensures low pressure drop and exceptionally high suction volume. At a typical air flow rate of 150 cfm the air velocity within the duct is approx. 12 mph or 17 ft/s.
