This is a 2GB Hard Drive in an external SCSI case. This Hard Drive is compatible with all models of the Kurzweil K2000, K2000VP, K2000R (OSv3.54 and up), K2500, K2600, and K2661. A Hard Drive is vastly superior to a Zip Drive or floppy disks for saving your Kurzweil files. You can load and save Samples, Sounds, Sequences, and Master files to the Hard Drive. Files will load extremely fast from a Hard Drive. I have loaded thousands of high-quality Kurzweil samples on the hard drive. They are all .KRZ or .K25 sample files, no wave files. It connects to your PC via its parallel port and is not appropriate for Macs. The package contains: 1) One 250MB Zip Drive with power supply and cable, 2) One CD containing IomegaWare software, 3) Users manual and 4) Quick install guide. Zip Disks are sold separately.
