They burn evenly and and leave behind a slightly flaky light and dark grey ash. The pre-light draw is that of dark chocolate, cherries, and syrupy raisin flavors and once lit the flavors are more of the same. For the price and the limited nature of this cigar I was expecting a little more complexity and some more distinctive flavors from this stick.  All in all this is still a very good cigar. I often have a handful of them in my humidor when I'm looking for this particular flavor profile. If you like this cigar try the Diesel Shorty LTD or the La Sirena. This is definitely one worth chasing down for all the Rocky Patel fans out there. If you loved the Rocky Patel Winter Blend you will love this cigar as well.

The draw on this cigar was easy, almost too easy for my liking but it did put off a good amount of smoke. There were some small thin veins but again nothing to worry about. The La Flor Dominicana Air Bender is also finished with a traditional triple-cap. This cigar does pack a pretty big pepper punch and the pepper is present for the entire length of the stick. There are some other great notes to balance out the pepper though, including salt, powdered cocoa, cedar and lots of leather.  This is one of those cigars that packs a walloping punch of power but also backs up that power punch with a great flavor profile. Consider this an middle of the road stick. Not for the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero guys but also not for the new cigar smoker. This is a great stick for the experienced medium body medium flavor guy who is looking for just a little bit more. Pick one up and smoke it slow.
