The Target Plate is made of screen wire on earlier models and later a perforated metal plate. This plate slides in behind the ozone plate on model 120FA. This plate is coated with a special chemical that reacts to the UV light to give off super oxide ions and other products that clean the air.

Average Life: 8000 hours UV light bulb should be replaced when REPLACE LAMP appears on the display. Do not touch glass areas of UV bulb with fingers. To install we recommend using the latex gloves, which are included with this item free of charge. Please note: As it states in the Fresh Air by Ecoquest Owner's Manual it is recommended to replace the UV light bulb starter when replacing the UV light bulb. UV light bulb may not start without replacing the starter.
