It's their top-of-the-line floor pump and as such, offers itself as a monument to the beauty of CNC machined, highly polished, and anodized aluminum. Think of it as the Chris King of floor pumps. In the tradition of our decades old Silca Pista pumps, the CNC Floor Drive Pump is all metal, this time aluminum, with nary a plastic part in sight. The obvious exception are the precision o-rings that act to seal the mechanism and the reinforced rubber hose, itself a detail of great interest to us as it's longer than most and allows for convenient usage, even when the bike is in the workstand. When you're done filling your tires, the chuck end of the 43" hose secures neatly into a keyway on the backside of the sturdy base. We like gauges that are built into the base as they don't get so abused when the pump inevitably gets knocked over. And what's a pump worth if the gauge misreads the pressure or doesn't even work at all? Not much in our books. Lezyne thinks the same way we do, and the gauge on the Floor Drive Pump is protected in a deep-set well incorporated into the cast aluminum base. It has an oversized 2.5" face and is easy to read when standing over it. Lezyne designed the CNC Floor Drive Pump to reach pressures up to 220 psi/15 bar. It comes with a silver base and handle and the barrel is available in four luscious colors -- Blue, Gold, Red, and Silver. The chuck is reversible and threads onto Presta or Schrader valves. It must be noted that if you have removable valve cores on your Presta valve stems, it is wise to make sure they are tight before you use this type of thread-on chuck as the o-ring in the chuck that seals the mechanism may try to free the valve core as you unscrew the chuck from the valve stem. It takes a 23mm road tire to 120psi in 30 strokes and a 26x2.3" mountain tire to 40 psi in 40 strokes.
