The Nissin SC-01 is a coiled off-camera universal shoe cord with multiple contact points, transmitting preflash-metering commands of Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Pentax, and Samsung SLR cameras, like as if you were using the manufacturer s own cord. Properly transmiting the same commands to the manufacturer s original flash units, it performs as well with third-party flashes from companys like Nissin, Sunpak, Sigma, etc designed for the more popular cameras. Nissin decided to put a second flash shoe on top of the camera-connection-end of the SC-01 cord, that will allow you to quickly place your shoe-cord-mounted flash above the camera s viewfinder without a need to disconnect the flash from it s cord.
