The High School Musical Sound Book: Let's Text enables kids to send and receive prerecorded text messages to and from Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Chad, and other popular characters from High School Musical. Designed for children ages three and older, the book includes a toy cell phone made especially for texting the East High students. To get a text message, kids press one of the three-digit numbers found in the book and then hit the Receive button. To reply to a text, they press Y, N, LOL, GR8, BFN, or WE and then Send. They can keep the conversation going by repeating the steps. To start a new conversation, they enter another three-digit code from the book.The High School Musical Sound Book: Let's Text follows the East High crowd as it auditions for the school musical, competes in the Scholastic Decathlon, wins the basketball championship, and participates in other fun events. Throughout the story, kids can send texts to check in with Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, and Chad—and see and hear their prerecorded replies.
