The bowl is approximately 4 to 5 inches deep and will withstand temperatures up to 1700 degrees. Includes screen, lifting tool, log grate and cover. Copper will weather to a beautiful finish. Some minor assembly is required. Cooking over this copper pit is completely safe as there are no chemicals used in the base metal; however, for your safety the units are cleaned with a solvent prior to packaging.
