(8 total pieces when including the lids) There are 4 different sized jars. There is a 28 oz size which is approximately 4 inches tall, a 42 oz size which is approximately 5.5 inches tall, a 57 oz size which is approximately 7 inches tall and the largest one is 71 oz and approximately 9 inches tall. The width of each jar is approximately 4 inches. Unlike many jars with lids which just lift off, these lids screw on tight leaving virtually no chance of any spillage. While the glass canisters are dishwasher safe, I would not recommend putting the stainless steel lids in the dishwasher. As much as these jars are perfect for kitchen counters, pantries or bathroom storage why not think of them for Christmas?
