The vowels are not the only inconsistent letters, the eight consonants (c, g, h, q, s, x, w, and y) are also inconsistent and thus are isolated in a book; they produce 50 sounds that are spelled in 60 ways. The books are cumulative and are for three different levels. All are required to start with ‘Read Instantly’. Skipping a book is like forcing a baby to run before he or she can crawl or walk.
