Pentek C1 Carbon Water Filter Cartridge is a 10"x2.5" Carbon cartridge # 155001-43. C1 Water Filter is a 5 micron, dual purpose powdered-activated Carbon Water Filter Cartridge. C1 carbon filter reduces fine sediment, rust, dirt, chlorine taste and odor, and removes bad taste and odors. The Pentek C1 Water Filter Cartridge 155002 (also known as W5CIP ) is a general purpose carbon filter that provides healthier, better tasting water, and has a high dirt-holding capacity. Reduces chlorine, taste and odor for over 2500 gallons at 1 gallon per minute water flow. Pentek C1 cartridge C series cartridges are manufactured using carbon impregnated cellulose media. Filters are recommended for chlorinated water supply. Pentek C1 filters have polyester reinforced backing and external netting that provides additional strength and sediment-holding capacity. Pentek C1 carbon filters 155002-43 are suited for a wide range of residential application and make an excellent polishing filter when used in process or closed-loop streams. C-style Self-Piercing Saddle Valve, 1/4 inch line. Aluminum clamp with 1/4 inch male compression or quick connect fitting. Self-piercing valve fits on a 3/8 to 5/8 inch copper tubing and uses a simple mechanism to connect to 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing. Installation: cold water line, recomended after a shut-off valve. Mount and tighten saddle valve onto a copper line where it can be easily accessed. Turn the valve clockwise all the way in to pierce the pipe. This will also be the OFF position for the line (your RO or other water filter system). Pentek SW1-A Water Filter Wrench. This wrench fits most standard Slim Line Housings, including WW38 by Pentek, Ametek, US Filter, American Plumber, Plymouth and others. Use this SW-1 wrench to loosen filter canister during filter replacement. Can be used on countertop or under sink water filter housings that use standard filters 2.5 inches in diameter. How to use Pentek SW-1A Filter Wrench. Slide the opening over the filter housing, until a good fit has been achieved. Rotate the wrench until it grabs the edges on a housing. Push harder to loosen the canister. Do NOT use the wrench to secure the canister after filter has been replaced, doing so will damage the o-rings. Always only hand tighten the housing!
