This is not the set that was in the big box stores in 2008--this set has open hoods, real rubber tires, painted detailed bottom of cars, Much better paint job. These were sold after the Daytona 500 to Dealers to sell in there service dept. Motorsports Authentics produced this 4 Car Hood Open Collectible Set packaged in a Collectible Tin in celebration of the Daytona 500 past winners on the same team. "The Great American Race" was started on February 22, 1959 and was watched by a crowd of 42, 000 fans. The 2008 Sprint Car Cup Race Season was the 50th Anniversary of the Daytona 500.
