This tire is 30 in diameter with a 16 opening and is 10 deep. It is made of Polypropylene. This tire has built in eye bolts that will accept our H172 shackle. This is a great tire swing as no bugs or water can get in it and there is no rubber to wear off and stain the children's clothes. It weighs 19 lbs. and meets ASTM Standards that state tires must weigh less than 35 lbs. No more than 3 children at a time and each less than 35 lbs. Important: To keep children safe from harm follow these precautions and instructions when installing using or maintaining this playground equipment. Installation: Attach the H172 shackles in the eye bolts using the wider side to go through the eye bolt and the smaller end to go through the chain. Make sure they are snug after adding the chain into them and closing. Make sure any S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. To do this you will need to use our S-hook pliers or a regular pair of channel lock pliers. Warning: Once the S-hooks have been opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that if you are using shackles they are also tightened. Safe Use: This is for children 5-12 year olds only. Not for Adults. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely.
