Its furniture is constructed from reinforced Nylon Fiber instead of cheap plastic which looks and feels extremely realistic. This gun comes with a metal Rail Integrated System and a PEQ Box that houses the BatteryAnd, the rifles receiver is finished in a matte gun metal gray which looks so good you honestly have to tap on it before you realize it is polymer and not metal. It of course has the standard features you would typically find on a traditional M4 AEG such as a six position telescoping stock, functional dust cover, removable carry handle and adjustable front and rear sights. This rifle does have an array of metal parts to include the one piece barrel, front sight, front sling mount, delta ring, dust cover, charging handle, mag catch, forward assist and buffer tube all of which have it weighing in at just under 6 lbs. The King Arms Colt M4A1 feels exceptionally solid and very sturdy. Between this rifles top notch appearance and top shot performance, it quickly became one of our all time favorites. This modern looking submachine gun is part of the new full metal GSG-522 series from Cybergun. These highly detailed guns replicate the newest variant of the .22cal SMG which has a more ergonomic design and improved features. All of these models are officially licensed by GSG of Germany and bare authentic trademarks stamped into their receivers giving them a highly realistic appearance. The stubby GSG-522 PK is the smallest of the 522 series and just by taking one look you can tell it was built with close quarter mayhem in mind. With no stock and a chopped down barrel the PK is basically a pistol with a massive amount of firepower. It is extremely maneuverable and compact enough that you can actually fire it one handed if the situation calls for it. The PK has the same Version 3 gearbox as its bigger brother with the same steel gears, steel bushings and steel core spring guide although it has been configured with a slightly lighter spring. This keeps the muzzle velocity to a CQB friendly 320 fps and allows the gun to operate at a much higher cyclic rate. When powered by the included 9.6v battery pack, the PK will rip out 16 rounds in less than one second! Now, one might concluded that its short barrel would limit the PK to close quarter, room to room combat and it would have little to no affect at longer distances. Wrong! This gun is surprisingly accurate at distance and is capable of placing a painfully tight shot group on targets out to 50 yards away. The hop-up on this model is a bit aggressive so lighter weight BBs do tend to climb a bit at longer ranges so we would suggest using rounds in the .25g to .28g range if you are going for distance. Do not use with .12g BB's, this gun was made to shoot with .20g BB's or heavier.

This makes the PK/FS a good choice for scenarios which see a blend of outdoor and indoor engagements. Inside with the stock folded this little gun is extremely easy to maneuver through doorways and down tight hallways. But, if you find yourself in the open just flip the stock open and shoulder it like rifle for added stability and control. The PK/FS is well equipped with a Version 3 gearbox fitted with steel gears running on steel bushings as well as a steel core spring guide with bearing. It has been configured with a lighter spring that produces 360 fps at the muzzle which strikes a happy medium between CQB and field velocities. At long range we found this little gun was able to achieve startling accuracy that was not thought possible from such a compact gun. We did note that lighter weight BBs do tend to curve at longer ranges so if your going to be shooting at distance we suggest using rounds weighing .25g or heavier to keep a flat trajectory. Using a .28g we were consistently nailing a torso sized target from 60 yards away even on full auto! Do not use with .12g BB's, this gun was made to shoot with .20g BB's or heavier.

Pulling back the charging handle on this model pushes the mock bolt to the rear and gives you access to the internal hop-up adjustment lever. Inside of this gun you will find a Version 2 gearbox fitted with steel gears running on steel bushings as well as a steel core spring guide with bearing so this gun comes very well equipped right out of the box. However, the coolest feature this model has to offer is its blow back system which drives the bolt back with the piston every time the gun fires. Squeeze off a round and the solid aluminum bolt is thrown back sending the recoil through the stock and into your shoulder with a solid jolt. Even though the affects of the recoil on full auto does realistically make long distance shooting a little more difficult, the gun is actually surprisingly accurate given its compact size. It is also quite powerful with a muzzle velocity of 400+ fps so it can easily connect with targets out to 60 yards away. Do not use with .12g BB's, this gun was made to shoot with .20g BB's or heavier.
