Garage-mounted LED sign detects bikes, kayaks, roof-top cargo carriers—anything with a wireless gear tag—and lights up reminding you to stop. In addition, in-car alerter sounds a tone inside vehicle that reminds you to stop. Wireless system includes LED alert sign to mount inside garage, 1 in-car alerter that sits inside your vehicle, and 2 water-resistant wireless tags that attach to your gear. LED sign plugs into wall socket with 12V power adapter; alerter and gear tags include replaceable batteries (system alerts you when a battery needs to be replaced). Sensing range is approximately 50 - 100 ft. (15 - 30m).
