Beautiful, modern cushion-cut white sapphire engagement ring in four-post channel setting. The center stone of this ring is 6.5mm cushion cut, all stones are white sapphire, and the ring is in rhodium-plated sterling silver. The stones in the center of the shank are 2.5mm in diameter, and and the rest of the stones (covering two sides of each post, and the curved connector under the center stone) are 1mm in diameter. The ring is low-set so it won't catch on anything. The four posts supporting the center stone are gently curved away from the middle when viewed from the top, following the contours of the center stone. We don't believe in supporting the marketing slogans of the corrupt jewelry industry ("diamonds are forever", "diamonds are a girl's best friend") etc., or global conflict, so we make all our rings from lab-created sapphires, which are as good as the real thing (they are exact simulants of the chemical structure of the natural gemstone, but without impurities), and we use semi-precious metal (silver) electroplated in precious metal (rhodium, a platinum-like metal). Why pay for an artificially-price-elevated stone, and a solid precious metal that you can only see on the outer surface of the ring? The rhodium plating on this ring prevents the silver from tarnishing and should last a year or two, after which it usually costs about $20 to touch up at your local jeweler. (Note that you should not wear these rings in chlorinated water or while dealing with acidic liquids like lemon juice or vinegar, it can eat away at the rhodium and/or cause the silver to oxidize.)
