BLUE JACARANDA TREE Jacaranda mimosifolia is native to Argentina and Bolivia, a deciduous tree. In tropical and subtropical climates, it puts on a spectacular flowering display in spring to summer when 2" long blue-purple flowers appear in 12-inch terminal panicles and literally cover the tree.
