This is the highest output radio available from Galaxy, pushing 200 watts of modulation with 8 IRF520 MOSFET final transistors, 50 watts more than the DX95T2! As an added bonus the DX98VHP has all blue LED frequency and channel display as well as blue meter lamps in the extra large meter. Due to the additional output power there are now two internal quiet temperature controlled fans to provide airflow over the enlarged heat sink. Also included is the Galaxy MOD lamp and Starlite faceplate making the DX98VHP ideal for both night and day use. Big power, loads of features, topped off with the Galaxy name and support.

100 watt maximum power output from four IRF520 MOSFETs - (60 watts more than the DX 99V). Maximum current is 25 amps. Heavy-duty DC power cord (same as the DX 95T2). Low profile bottom heatsink (same as the DX 95T2). Blue LEDs for frequency and channel readouts. Dual blue LEDs light our signature large meter StarLite faceplate (all printing is backlit). Meter scales indicating power output SWR and incoming signal strength Side mic jack - not a front mic jack AM/USB/LSB modes but no FM.

This radio will rock with a good tune. Dual MOSFETS will see over 60+ watts of swing from a low 2 watt dead key. All Blue and it will dim so you can use it at night.
