About the Designer: Slow and Steady Wins the Race is a conceptual clothing and accessory line that reinterprets the classical everyday wardrobe. Founded in 2002 by designer Mary Ping, it is built on the belief that high design can and should be accessible to all. The philosophy behind Slow and Steady Wins the Race breaks the rule that fashion must constantly change. The collections are seasonless and prove that good design elicits both an intellectual and emotional response that is ageless, cross-cultural, and boundless. About the Band: TV on the Radio spans numerous genres, reaching from post-punk to electro to soul and beyond. Drawing on influences from jazz, psychedelic rock and trip-hop, TV on the Radio creates a truly unique and captivating sound.
