ST FLORIAN MEDAL 24 Inch Necklace 925 Sterling Silver The Saint Florian Medal is 7/8 inch long (22mm) and 5/8 inch wide (15mm), not counting the bale or ring. It is shown next to a quarter. The Medal is on a 1mm 24 inch box chain with a spring ring clasp. This pendant has a semi-shiny finish on the outside oval and a satin finish on the inside oval. The back has a satin finish also. In the outside oval it says "SAINT FLORIAN" across the top and "PROTECTOR OF FIREFIGHTERS" across the bottom. The medal and chain are solid sterling silver stamped 925. Saint Florian is the patron saint of firefighters. He is also invoked when in danger from water, flooding.
