Instruction sheet included. *AARON'S WORKSHOP NOTES: Eduard aircraft masks are die-cut to very high precision, and it covers the canopy, wheel, and other clear parts that require masking before airbrushing/spray painting. In our shop, we use a very sharp hobby knife and sharp-tipped tweezers to peel off the die-cut masking tape from the sheet before applying it to a part. Most of the time, the die-cut mask comes off easily, but keep a sharp hobby knife handy for those few pieces that are not cut all the way through. Eduard masks are flexible, fit very well, and offer good tight seal against paint leaking into the masked parts. Some masks are very small so a magnifying glass may be helpful. It's a great time saver especially for World War II era aircraft kits that comes with complex canopy structure and lots of clear parts that require masking. If you ever masked a Ju 87, A6M Zero, or a He 111 without using one of these express masks, you know what I'm talking about. Enjoy! | | SEE IT |

 | Fantastic prices with ease & comfort of Amazon.com! (In-Stock) Detailed 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the Focke-Wulf 190D-9, a World War II single-engine fighter of the German Luftwaffe. Nicknamed "Dora 9" by Luftwaffe pilots and called "Butcher-bird" by Allied pilots, the D Series Focke-Wulf 190 inspired both fear and respect by all who encountered it in combat. The FW-190 D embodied all of the features of a great fighter aircraft: speed, agility, and survivability. The D Series Fw190 was equipped with a round shaped liquid-cooled in-line "Jumo" engine with a circular radiator mounted in front, whereas the A Series 190s were fitted with a variety of air-cooled BMW radial engines. The in-line "Jumo" engine offered improved performance at high altitudes and gave the D-Series Fw190 its distinctive long nose and extended aft fuselage to counter-balance the added weight of the Jumo engine. The combination of a high performance bomber engine and a proven fighter airframe made the Fw190D one of the most capable fighter aircraft of World War II. This beautifully detailed 1/48 scale model kit features: Detailed cockpit. Optional open or closed canopy with two types of canopy included. Optional open or closed cowl flaps. Rotating propeller. One pilot figure included. Decals with 3 sets of marking included. | | SEE IT |

 | Fantastic prices with ease & comfort of Amazon.com! (In-Stock) Detailed 1/48 scale model kit of the Focke-Wulf Fw190, a World War II single-seat, single-engine fighter of the German Luftwaffe. The Fw190 is generally considered by historians as one of the best fighters of its generation. Often called the "Butcher-bird" by Allied pilots, the 190 was a fighter aircraft that inspired both fear and respect by those who encountered it in combat. Originally developed by Kurt Tank to serve as backup for the highly successful Messerschmitt Bf109, the Focke-Wulf 190 quickly proved itself as a highly capable frontline fighter aircraft, and before long, thousands of Fw190s were fighting alongside Messerschmitt 109s over skies of Europe. Over 20, 000 Focke-Wulf 190 of all variants were produced by Germany in the Second World War, and some of the Luftwaffe's most successful fighter aces in World War II flew the Fw190. The A Series Fw190 was the original short-nose design, and the type was fitted with a variety of BMW radial engines and armed with four machine guns (two fuselage-mounted & two wing-root mounted) and two wing-mounted 20 mm cannons. Some 6, 000 ground attack variants of the Fw190 (the F and G models) were also produced and utilized with success by the Luftwaffe, a testament to the type's versatility. The A-4 model Fw190 was equipped with the same engine (BMW 801 D-2 radial) and basic armament as the A-3, but with updated radio gear and under-wing bomb racks, which could be fitted with a variety of bombs, heavy cannons, and cameras for reconnaissance missions. This model kit comes with Luftwaffe marking for two different Fw190s: JG54 Kommodore Major Hannes Trautloft winter 1942-43 Russia (winter camouflage) and JG54 Kommodore Major Hubertus von Bonin 1943 Estonia. Model Length: 184mm, Model Width: 218mm; 89 pieces total. | | SEE IT |

The aircraft suffered minor damage following a taxing accident at Schipol on 25th June 1943 but returned to service soon after. The Schachbrettmuster pattern would only last a matter of months however as the markings resulted in confusion in the air when other Jagdwaffe fighters intercepted the Gruppe after misidentifying its aircraft for similarly marked P-47 Thunderbolts of the USAAF s 8th Air Force. Scale: 1:72. Aircraft Type Fixed-Winged. Era: World War II. Aircraft: Focke-Wulf FW 190. Propulsion: Propeller-Driven. Role: Fighter. | | SEE IT |
 | Fantastic prices with ease & comfort of Amazon.com! (In-Stock) The idea of installing a Junkers Jumo 213A engine (until then mainly used on bombers) in a Focke-Wulf 190 airframe was born of a need to improve the high altitude performance of the aircraft: the A and F versions, in fact, suffered a significant drop in speed above 7, 000m. Armed with two 20mm cannon and two 13mm guns, the D-9 was immediately a favorite with pilots, who considered it an aircraft equal to the P-51 Mustang. In its secondary role as a ground strike aircraft, the Dora 9 performed excellently during Operation Bodenplatte, the last stand of the 3rd Reich in the Ardennes. About 650-700 D versions are thought to have been made, of which four still exist today. | | SEE IT |
