One of the all-time favorite steelhead flies. The green butt and dark body with white wing is a proven steelhead color combination. As is the case with many steelhead pattern, it is always interesting to see how adding a dab of fluorescent green to an old standby will mean the difference between fish and no-fish. This is one of those steelhead flies you can fish with confidence: If you find the steelhead, they will probably take it, so you can work on your presentation and streamcraft instead of changing flies all day.
