The word Favrile, derived from the Latin word Fabrillis, meaning made by hand, was named for Louis Comport Tiffany's irridescent glasswork. Infused with a series of fumes and metallic oxides, this delicate glass glowed with exciting irridescence in a mirad of colors.Today, Dale Tiffany is proud to re-introduce "Favrile" glass. By using the same techniques and craftsmanship of Tiffany himself, Dale is able to achieve the same magnificant effect as Tiffany did over one hundred years ago. Finish: Verdigris. Material: Metal.
