This item is a brand new set of 16 1.5 ratio long slot style stamped steel rocker arms for small block Chevy engines with 3/8" rocker arm studs from Elgin Industries. This is a complete kit of 16 rockers with special grooved balls for added lubrication and lock nuts for one pair of heads. They fit 1955 - 1986 small block Chevy 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, 383, and 400 V8 engines. These rockers are for the early model cylinder heads not requiring self aligning type rockers. Elgin long slot rockers are for use with the high lift cams popular in circle track racing or street and strip. Elgin rocker arms are stamped from a high strength steel alloy that is specially heat treated and designed to resist rocker arm flex.

It is brand new, first line product! It is designed for street and strip performance applications and fits most 1955 - 1979 SBC small block Chevrolet 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 383, and 400 V8 engines with drivers side (left-hand) dipstick. Does not fit the Chevy II, Vega/Monza, or vehicles with the steering behind cross member. It is a 8 1/4" deep oil pan with a T-shaped rear sump for extra capacity. The rear sump measures 10 1/2" wide X 9 1/4" long and has a 8 quart oil capacity including the oil filter.
