Over 240 color photographs of objects from many public and private collections, a very interesting text, and meticulously composed descriptions display Tiffany's intriguing art glass together for the first time in book form. The word Favrile, derived from the Latin word Fabrillis, meaning made by hand, was named for Louis Comport Tiffany's irridescent glasswork. Infused with a series of fumes and metallic oxides, this delicate glass glowed with exciting irridescence in a mirad of colors.Today, Dale Tiffany is proud to re-introduce "Favrile" glass.
