This concert of music by Richard Nanes was recorded on the occasion of the composer's visit to Kiev, the capital city of the Republic of the Ukraine. The world premiere of the Nanes 3rd Symphony the Holocaust was performed in the Kiev Opera House. The Kharkiv Festival Orchestra conducted by Virko Baley was a highlight of the Kiev International Music Festival.
