Jim Taylor played for the Green Bay Packers under Vince Lombardi, one of the most famous and revered coaches in professional football history. He was a member of four Packers championship teams 1961, 1962, 1965, and 1966 and played an integral role in the Packers 35 10 decimation of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl I. Taylor set Packers records that may never be broken, and his 1962 single-season record for rushing yards (1, 474) was not surpassed by a Packer until Ahman Green ran for 1, 883 yards in 2003.
